FH role boundaries & directory terms
Terms version: FH-EXTERNAL-2026-10-10-v2- FH Electrician Service Pty Ltd provides an external contractor information directory only. Contractors listed here have no cooperation, employment, agency, partnership or subcontracting relationship with FH and do not represent FH.
- Obtaining contact details through the FH website is not an FH recommendation, certification or guarantee of the contractor. Application and listing review is for directory administration only, not certification or a guarantee of identity, licensing, insurance or work quality. FH does not select a contractor for you, enter into the work contract, arrange the work or collect payment for it.
- You deal directly with the contractor regarding quotes, contracts, payment, work, quality, safety, insurance, warranties, after-sales service and disputes. To the extent permitted by law, FH does not guarantee or perform the external contractor’s contractual, quality, insurance or warranty obligations.
- You must identify the contractor, assess their suitability and take responsibility for your own selection and engagement decisions and associated risks as required by law. These terms do not transfer the contractor’s own responsibilities to you.
- Before signing, paying or allowing work to start, verify the contractor’s identity, ABN, required licences and permitted scope, current licence status, applicable insurance and expiry dates. Obtain written quotes, contracts and warranty terms. Check any required council approvals and safety requirements, including for tree removal, roofing and landscaping. Do not engage someone solely on this directory if their qualifications or insurance cannot be verified.
- These terms do not exclude, restrict or modify any rights, guarantees, remedies or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable laws, including FH’s own legal responsibilities. Checking the boxes does not waive those rights or guarantee absolute immunity for FH.
