Scope of Work:
1. Private Power Pole Replacement
* Remove and replace the existing leaning private power pole with a new compliant pole to ensure structural stability and electrical safety.
2. Main Switchboard Upgrade & Expansion
* Upgrade and enlarge the existing main switchboard due to overcrowded circuit breakers, disorganised internal wiring and insufficient space.
* Install a new, larger switchboard enclosure to provide adequate space for all electrical components, ensure the cover can be securely fitted and allow for future maintenance.
3. Electrical Wiring Reorganisation
* Reorganise and reroute the existing wiring within the switchboard.
* Improve cable management, circuit layout and overall electrical safety.
4. Testing & Commissioning
* Carry out necessary electrical testing, safety inspections and commissioning in accordance with relevant Australian Standards.

Scope of Work:
1. Overhead Service Damage Assessment & Restoration
* The existing overhead service line was brought down by a falling tree branch, causing significant damage and deformation to the timber mounting board and metal cladding at the Point of Attachment (POA).
* A qualified carpenter was engaged to replace the damaged timber mounting board and repair the affected mounting structure.
2. New Private Power Pole Installation
* The original overhead service route from the network service pole to the existing POA would cross over the neighbouring property’s airspace, which does not meet current clearance and service installation requirements.
* A new private power pole was installed to provide a compliant overhead service connection without crossing the neighbouring property’s airspace.
3. Consumer Mains Replacement
* The existing consumer mains cables were undersized and required upgrading.
* Replaced the existing consumer mains with appropriately sized cables to meet current electrical requirements and ensure safe, reliable power supply.
4. Main Switchboard Relocation & Complete Upgrade
* The original main switchboard was installed at an excessive height above the entrance door on the left-hand side, making it difficult to access and not compliant with current accessibility requirements.
* Relocated the main switchboard to a new, accessible and compliant position.
* Replaced and upgraded the existing switchboard components, including circuit breakers, protective devices and associated internal wiring.
5. Electrical Testing & Commissioning
* Completed necessary electrical testing, safety inspections and commissioning to ensure the installation meets relevant Australian Standards and electrical safety requirements.

Scope of Work:
1. Emergency Electrical Response & Make-Safe
* The existing private power pole had suffered severe corrosion and rust damage, causing the pole to break and collapse onto the roadside.
* Responded to an emergency call-out to assess the damage and electrical safety risks.
* Safely disconnected and isolated the affected electrical supply to eliminate immediate electrical hazards and make the site safe.
2. Private Power Pole Replacement
* Arranged for a new private power pole to be installed the following day.
* Removed and replaced the severely corroded and collapsed pole with a new compliant private power pole.
* Ensured the new pole was securely installed to provide a safe and stable electrical supply connection.
3. Outdoor Switchboard Reinstallation
* Reinstalled and secured the outdoor switchboard onto the new private power pole.
* Reconnected and reorganised the associated electrical wiring and components as required.
4. Power Supply Reconnection & Restoration
* Reconnected the electrical supply following completion of the pole replacement and switchboard installation.
* Restored electricity supply to the residential property.
5. Electrical Testing & Safety Inspection
* Carried out the necessary electrical safety inspections and testing before restoring power.
* Ensured the installation met applicable Australian Standards and electricity network requirements.
