YOUR QUESTIONS

Clear answers before you choose.

How do I choose solar and battery capacity?

Start with your electricity bill, daytime and evening usage, roof and future charging needs. We review the capacity, compatibility and installation scope when you send an enquiry.

Will a battery power my home in an outage?

Backup needs a compatible inverter, battery, gateway and circuit design. Your proposal explains the supported circuits and available output.

Can I add a battery to existing solar?

Share your existing inverter model, supply phase and switchboard details so we can review suitable storage options.

How do I get the final price?

Choose equipment and quantities, provide the installation address and electricity details, and attach a recent bill. Our team reviews the enquiry and issues a quote inclusive of GST.

FH / SYSTEM BUILDER

Build your solar & battery enquiry

Explore our listed products without an account. Choose a suggested combination or select products individually. Your selected equipment appears in the summary as you build your system; FH will confirm backup scope and site capacity. Sign in or register when you send your completed enquiry for a reviewed quote. Choose the inverter phase and model, compatible battery stack and same-phase AC EV charger. Sigen Gateway Home appears only for Sigenergy systems and the matching phase. Our team will confirm compatibility, site work, STCs and the final price.

Suggested starting combinations
Choose a starting combination, then change any panel, inverter or compatible battery manually. Final compatibility and availability are reviewed before quotation.

1. Select equipment

You can configure freely. Sign in only when sending an enquiry.

A selected backup gateway indicates a whole-home backup request, subject to FH checking load, switchboard and network conditions. Panel total uses nameplate DC power. Battery total uses manufacturer listed stored energy (kWh), not output power (kW); a complete-stack battery model counts as one stack. Sigenergy EVDC is DC-coupled, not a single/three-phase AC charger. For a stacked Sigenergy or other integrated system, enter one shared installation position and switchboard distance. Final battery wiring, inverter compatibility, site phase and grid limits need FH confirmation.

2. Installation requirements

Outside the online estimate

These items require a separate FH assessment if needed. Select any you want included in our site review.

3. Electricity bill & installation address

Company location & surrounding area

8-8 Shout Ridge, Lindfield NSW 2070, Australia

Open in Google MapsEnter your installation address to view your property here.

Enter the distributor on your bill, including networks outside NSW. FH will check service availability for your location. Find your NMI ↗

Your bill is stored privately for FH to review. You can find the NMI on your electricity bill. The bill is not read automatically; enter usage and tariffs above for a savings estimate.

Installation scope, exclusions and warranty

Owner (Party A) and Contractor (Party B)

Contracting parties: The Owner identified as a contracting party in the quotation is Party A. The Contractor named in the quotation is Party B. An authorised representative may sign on behalf of Party A but is not deemed to be the Owner. If the contracting client is a tenant, builder or another entity rather than the Owner, the quotation must identify that capacity and any required owner authority; this clause does not bind a property owner who is not a party to the contract.

The written quote covers design and installation of the selected solar and/or battery system, related electrical work, testing and commissioning. Unless stated otherwise, it includes standard AC electrical materials for a run of up to 5 metres.

The site-specific plan and performance estimate form part of the agreed project documents. Both parties must sign the contract and every variation, including layout, equipment, price and expected performance changes, before installation or changed work proceeds. Verbal approval on site is insufficient.

Not included unless expressly listed in the issued quote

  • Concrete plinth or base for equipment
  • Backup system or two dedicated backup circuits, whether manual or automatic
  • AC cabling and standard materials beyond the first 5 metres
  • Additional work for a roof pitch above 21°
  • Roof tile cutting or roof alterations
  • Travel beyond 25 km from the FH base
  • Packaging and installation waste removal
  • Roof waterproofing work
  • Repair of pre-existing electrical faults
  • Removal and transport of an existing solar or battery system

Switchboard work is included only when it appears in the written quote. Any excluded work needed on site will be assessed and separately agreed before it is charged.

Price adjustment due to market cost increases

Market cost increases: If market fluctuations result in increased costs of materials, labour or equipment during a prolonged period between quotation and completion of the works, the Contractor (Party B) may propose a corresponding price adjustment to the Owner (Party A). Any proposed adjustment must be notified to Party A in writing, together with the reasons for and amount of the adjustment, and agreed by both parties in writing before it takes effect. Any required variation must be signed by both parties. No price increase is applied automatically. Mandatory statutory and applicable NETCC cancellation, termination and refund rights remain unaffected.

Confidentiality agreement

Confidentiality: By signing acceptance of this quotation, Party A agrees to keep its non-public design drawings, technical proposals and commercial information confidential. Without Party B's written consent, that information must not be publicly disclosed, forwarded without authorisation or used for purposes outside this project. Private access links and verification codes must not be shared. This agreement does not prevent reasonable disclosure to professional advisers and necessary project participants who are subject to confidentiality obligations, or disclosure required by law, complaints or the exercise of statutory rights.

Price and payment

Issued pricing remains valid for at least 10 business days from issue. The project schedule states the deposit and payment stages. Standard design is included; any bespoke design fee and refund conditions must be expressly itemised. Undisclosed non-refundable charges will not be deducted.

The published final amount is the GST-inclusive amount payable after any eligible, verified government incentives expressly shown in the quote. If an incentive is unavailable or changes, FH will confirm a revised written price. FH does not accept cash payments. GST applies to taxable work regardless of payment method.

After-sales and warranty

FH provides a 5-year warranty on its installation workmanship. Product warranties are provided by the original manufacturers under their stated terms; they are separate from FH’s workmanship warranty. FH will assist with product warranty claims and meet its obligations under Australian Consumer Law and any applicable NSW statutory warranties. These rights are not excluded by a manufacturer warranty.

Approvals, handover and customer support

Where required, written Owners Corporation consent must be supplied before the contract is signed. Required network approval must be obtained before installation. Your energy retailer may change tariffs or charge for metering; contact them to confirm.

Before activation, you will receive operating and maintenance instructions, equipment ratings, locations, commissioning details, models and serial numbers, manufacturer datasheets and warranties. Signed project documents and relevant records will be retained for at least five years.

The seller undertakes to comply with NETCC and remains responsible for parties acting on its behalf. Complaints may be made through the seller contacts in the project schedule. We aim to respond within 15 business days and give a final response within 25 business days unless an extension is agreed. Escalation is available to NETCC and the relevant state Fair Trading body.

Assessment

We review your electricity use, roof, switchboard, connection and goals before recommending a system.

Design and proposal

Your written proposal sets out the equipment, installation scope, estimated performance, price and applicable incentives. Actual savings depend on site and usage conditions.

Installation and handover

We coordinate the electrical work, commissioning, monitoring setup and handover.
